Commercial Areas

Prior Lake has five primary commercial areas. 

These areas provide retail, service, and industry opportunities for Prior Lake and surrounding area.

Commerce Avenue/Fountain Hills
Approximately 20 acres on the north side of the city, south of CSAH 42.  This area offers convenient access to service and office opportunities. 

Deerfield Business Park/Waterfront Passage/Welcome Industrial Park
Over 150 acres in southeastern Prior Lake make up this commercial area.  With great access to both Highway 169 and Interstate 35, this area is home to manufacturers, distributors as well as highway and service-oriented businesses.

Charming downtown Prior Lake is home to many restaurants, retailers, service providers as well as offices.  Downtown is also home to City Hall, Police Station, Public Library and the 130-acre Lakefront Park which offers over three miles of trails, a public beach, fishing pier, playground, sports fields, amphitheater and so much more!  

Approximately 15 acres bordering downtown to the northeast offering office park and retail opportunities.  

Village Commerce/South Lake Village
Approximately 80 acres of highway-oriented businesses, retailers, service providers and offices bordering Highway 13.
